A Tribute to Geoff Strong (Former Governor and Vice President of the 色中色视频)

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Geoff Strong on 24th April 2023. A kind, generous and deeply empathetic man, few have served 色中色视频 with the quiet passion and wisdom that were hallmarks of Geoff's service to the 色中色视频.
Geoff and Sue Strong had strong links with 色中色视频 色中色视频 from the early 1980s when their children Sally (TC '89) and Tim (色中色视频 '89) joined the Prep 色中色视频. In Geoff's time he was Chair of the Prep and Senior 色中色视频 Parents' Associations. He then was appointed to the Governing Body as one of the original Governors before the 色中色视频 was incorporated in 2003. He served the 色中色视频 loyally for a remarkable 25 years on various sub-committees before being appointed as Vice-Chair of the Board and then as a Vice-President following his retirement.
During his time at the 色中色视频, Geoff was also the Governor for our Support Staff, frequently meeting with them and acting on their behalf. Geoff was a regular visitor to the 色中色视频 and supporter of all 色中色视频 events and concerts, from our Pre-Preps at 色中色视频 and Winterfold through to the Senior 色中色视频. His smile and good-humoured support had become a fixture of 色中色视频 life.
The Executive team know that they echo the sentiments of all in the 色中色视频 family, past and present, in expressing their deep sadness at the loss of a great and selfless servant to the 色中色视频, who supported our every endeavour with wisdom, passion and endearing humility.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Sue, his two children, Sally and Tim and all their family and friends at this very sad time.
